Bernardo Ferrão

Bernardo Ferrão is Information Vice-Director at SIC, co-host of the weekly program Expresso da Meia Noite, and the writer of a weekly op-ed in Expresso Diário, newspaper in which he was political editor.

He has received a number of awards, including the UNESCO Prize, for his report on clandestine immigration entitled “A um Salto”. Bernardo Ferrão is also a teacher of Journalism for TV at CENJOR and ETIC.

Born in Oporto, he holds a degree in Social Communication from the University of Fernando Pessoa and was a Fellow from the German Marshall Fund in the United States.
