Clara de Sousa

Clara de Sousa began her career in 1986 and is a professional journalist since 1992. With over three decades of experience, she is the only journalist that held the position of anchorwoman for the three main Portuguese TV channels.

In 2001 she was part of the team that founded SIC Notícias, the first 24/7 Portuguese information channel. Since 2007 she is the anchorwoman of Jornal da Noite, at SIC, where she also conducts the commentaries of Luís Marques Mendes and José Miguel Júdice.

She holds a degree in Modern Languages and Literature by the School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon.

She is the host of the Estoril Conferences since their first edition.
