Nuno Piteira Lopes
Nuno Piteira Lopes is Cascais City Councillor in charge of territorial intervention, economic licensing, employment promotion, associations coordination, youth, sports, and municipal veterinary.
He holds a degree in Economy by Lusófona University of Humanities and Technologies. He also concluded the AESE Business School/IESE – University of Navarra Program in Business Management. He has held several positions at the Cascais Technological Education Institute and Cascais Municipality.
Since 2011 he is in charge of the financial and pedagogical coordination of the Training Department of the Portuguese Red Cross Estoril Delegation.
Between 2011 and 2013 he was Cascais City Councillor responsible for finances, estate, economic activities, and youth.
After that period, between 2013 and 2017 he was Cascais City Councillor responsible for planning, environment, economic activities, public works, territorial intervention, associations, sport and parish councils. During the same period, he was President of the Board of the municipal company Cascais Ambiente.
In 2012 he became President of DNA Cascais, a position he still holds.
In 2016 he was appointed member of the Board of the Lisbon Tourism Association.
